I headed to Oktoberfest full of enthusiasm and my trusty Mamiya C330. Coming closer to central station it got really crowdy. People were shuffling along in the traditional dresses and were a little tipsy.

Arriving at the church located behind the Wiesn you see people hanging around on park benches and every little corner of the church is used as a toilet. At the entrance to the festivities people run around smiling in a confused and overstimulated manner. Everybody seems to be really excited and also confused by all the lights and things to see.

The light was fantastic shining bright between steel grey clouds - a light that always fascinates me. But take a look yourself:
